Where distance meets connection –

My work brings memories to life. By exploring the energy of connections across vast dreamlike spaces, I envisage the possibility of another soul in the distance and wonder if they are mirroring my thoughts. Despite these locations being uninhabited, except for the occasional bird, these paintings feel like home. Relationships and love are integral, flight is the course across the horizon. 

My introspective process includes the encounter of experimental and established techniques, elements of collage and the use of vintage papers and reflective fragments, they represent optimism, memories, hopes and dreams, spirits. Painting the past, present, the heart.

2005 – present – Houston, Texas – USA citizen, art educator, exhibiting artist, artist in residence, gallery curator, published art writer.
